Temperament: Fast and skittish. It has no urticating hairs, so it is more likely to bite, and its venom is stronger than most New World species. Best for keepers with some experience.

Care: A tall enclosure with cork bark, slightly moist substrate, good ventilation and a water dish. Normal room temperatures are fine.

Growth rate: Fast.
